Questions and answers
Why is Synergy Housewares conducting this recall?
The kettle’s infuser basket lid is loose and can fall off during use, posing a burn hazard. This is a voluntary recall in conjunction with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).
How is the recall being conducted?
Sales of kettles with the affected infuser lids have stopped, and we are contacting all known customers who bought the kettle through HSN. Stop using the kettle and request a free additional lid. Only use the infuser basket lid when infusing tea in water that has already been heated. The new lid is for use when the infuser basket is not inserted or has been removed.
Where were the recalled kettles sold?

How can I tell if my kettle is affected?
The recall involves Wolfgang Puck petite tea kettles sold with a removable tea infuser basket: 14 oz., stainless steel, in beige, black, pink or red. “Wolfgang Puck Petite Kettle” and a six-digit lot code (022020, 022021, 022022, 042022, 022023 or 032023) appear on the kettle’s underside. No other Wolfgang Puck kettles or products are involved.
